Springwood Seventh-day Adventist Church
Draft Strategic Plan
2010-2014
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
Where will Springwood Church be in five years time? What is the vision for the future and the vision for ministry and outreach of our church? How do we perceive God will be using us to help transform lives within this five year period? Springwood Church is on the threshold of a new and exciting era. The dream of an appropriate and functional place to connect, worship, reach, share and grow will soon be realized. Now we can do so much more.
Part of the South Queensland Conference strategic plan is to "increase annual membership growth through baptisms to 5% of membership by 2012." Springwood Church can help our region reach these goals and beyond. But to do so we will need God, we will need prayer, we will need your involvement and we will need a plan on how to add people to His Kingdom.
Today the leadership of Springwood Church is casting a vision of where we see God leading our church within the next five years. We invite you to study this carefully, add your ideas and suggestions, and then get involved and get excited. God has a bigger plan for us, our church and His Kingdom.
Jesus said "I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last." John 15:16.
